Clinical Pilates

Clinical Pilates

Unlike regular Pilates classes which offer a broad range of exercises for general wellbeing, Clinical Pilates involves prescribed exercises to address specific health and mobility concerns you may be experiencing.

Before your first Clinical Pilates class, our Exercise Physiologist will conduct a 1 hour assessment to understand your goals and provide an exercise program tailored to your individual needs.

Who does Clinical Pilates benefit?

Almost everyone can benefit from Clinical Pilates. Some of the issues it can help with include:

  • Back pain
  • Poor posture
  • Stiffness
  • Core and overall strength
  • Post-surgery rehabilitation
  • Muscle toning
  • Balance
  • Bone density

Because we create individual programs to match your physical capabilities, our classes are suitable for teens and adults of all ages and fitness levels, including during pregnancy and post-pregnancy.

Each 1 hour class is restricted to a maximum of four people to ensure every participant receives adequate instruction and encouragement.

When are classes held?

Our Clinical Pilates classes are held at our practice:

Tuesday evenings 6:00pm – 7:00pm
7:00pm – 8:00pm
Thursday evenings 6:00pm – 7:00pm
7:00pm – 8:00pm
Class times may vary subject to availability.

What to bring?
